A few months back I spent a week or so enjoying this show. I never caught it really when it was running during it's prime time era, but I had always heard good things about it. I guess that was one of my periods where I wasn't really watching much TV. I was born in the early 70s...and as a survivor of the 80s, what I consider to be my first real decade... )I was of age to know what was going on, and take part in the pop culture etc...) I've got to say it captured the era much better than any television comedy from the 80s themselves. The characters resonate with me, and remind me of former classmates, and myself as well. The music on the show is great, and all of it is relevant to the times the series was portraying. I plan to go into more detail on this later, but I wanted to jot some stuff down on this brilliant series to help remind me me later... At any rate, if you haven't seen it, you should... If you have, then you know what I am talking about.
